1. General Rules:
a. Messages must not contain profanity and offensive attacks against other participants in the club.
b. Those indicating profile addresses of sites not related to the themes of the club, namely, advertising various products and services, much less addresses of porno-sites, considered spammers and will be excepted from the club immediately.
c. Using of any Link Protector is prohibited.
d. Publication of any advertising material is prohibited.
e. The responsibility for the content and quality of published material rests solely with the author.
2. The rules of preparation for musical material:
a. It’s obligatory: multivolume RAR archive, containing information for the restoration at the rate of about 3-5%. It’s desirable: the existence of archive password and file names encryption option activation.
Use of other archivers is not permitted!
b. File hosting service: It’s desirable: wwwrapidshare.com . It’s permissible: wwwmegaupload.com , wwwrapidshare.de . In an extreme case: wwwifolder.ru , wwwnarod.ru (due to their foreign net traffic limitation).
c. Vinyl Rip:
It’s obligatory: audio material should be in WAV 44,100 kHz; 16 bit format. Splitting tracks at the discretion of the author.
The use of noise reduction, dynamic and frequency filters when disc processing is not permitted.
Quality of LP’s for digitizing must be no lower than Very Good.
d. CD Rip:
You should use the program EAC (preferably the latest versions, which create a log file that contains the TOC of the disk and which are able to work with Accurip).
Read mode: Secure.
In the setting of EAC to drive the value of read and write offset correction should be installed separately.
Use of combined read/write offset correction is not allowed!
Use of other CD-rippers is not permitted!
Recommendations for installing and configuring EAC published in a special post in this section.
Before ripping CD you should clear filling all tag fields of EAC (CD Title, CD Artist etc).
Rip Format: preferentially CD image. Allowably: separate tracks.
The existence of CUE and LOG files for both options is necessarily!
Preferably the existence of Accurip conclusion in a log file.
When you publish a music obtained from torrent or edonkey the existence of NFO file is preferably.
e. To reduce the size of RAR archive WAV files ought to be pre-compressed, using special software to compress audio without loss: Monkey Audio (compression level must not be greater than High), FLAC (not be greater than 6).
Application of other programs is not allowed!
f. The existence of full cover scans and also apples scans for LP, miniLP and EP or disc scan for CD is necessarily.
Scans should be uploaded in a separate file.
g. Exceptions to the above rules (for example, for rare records) are allowed only in agreement with moderator.
3. The rules of publication creation:
a. Is strictly forbidden to start a new topic, if the subject of this artist is already there! In this case, you can add new material in the current topic as a response only.
b. Language – Russian or English.
c. Must necessarily indicate:
a. Album artist
b. Album title
c. Release date
d. Music genre
e. Rip source
f. Rip format (for example, APE+CUE+LOG or FLAC(tracks)+CUE+LOG)
g. Size of archive
h. Tracklist
d. Preferably, in the case of own rip necessarily indicate imprint of the disc (company-country manufacturer, catalog number).
e. The size of illustration should not exceed 600x600 pixels.
f. You should hide direct links in publication using HIDE tag (symbol of padlock). The number in tag brackets should be equal to 1: HIDE[1].
g. Comments in the subject are admitted strictly on the merits of publication. Requests, suggestions and thanks to the author of the publication should be sent via Private Messages (PM) ("ЛС" by russian).
h. Gratitude is expressed by clicking on "Дать оценку участнику" (assess party) button, which is located in the lower right corner of publication. It is a figure which is equal to the assessment publication (initially 0). The assessment can be either positive or negative. Estimates for the publication of the user are displayed in a setting "Уважение" (respect). A setting "Позитив" (positive) shows how the user praised the publication of other members of the club. The procedure is not anonymous! Clicking on the appropriate link, any user can get a full statistic of assessments. Any complaints about unfair assessments, please send via PM to the board administrator.
Evaluation procedure has follows limitation:
1. The number of evaluations that can put this user is defined by the formula 10 * [amount of his publications];
2. Any user can appreciate for the day no more than 10 publications;
3. Any user can appreciate for the day no more than 3 publications of one author.
i. Any "thank's" in the comments are considered to be flood and will be removed by moderation. Violators first receive a verbal warnings from the administration of the forum via PM. After 2 warnings for every following breach the value of "Respect" would be reduced by 1. When this value reaches "-10" - the user will be blocked. Moreover if he does not have any positive assessment - he will be excepted from the club.
j. Complaints about the content of publications and the quality of published material firstly should be sent to the author via PM. In the absence of a reply from the author should contact with the moderator via PM. Complaints about dead links should be sent to the moderator via PM.
k. In the case of complains receiving about dead links from the club members or self-reliant detecting their by moderator, he sends PM to the author and removes these links from his publication.
In the absence of a reaction from the author within 1 month - the publication would be removed.
Effect of these rules applies only to Lossless sections.
